Art, fun, food, music and more! Watch as artists create masterpieces on
the sidewalk using chalk. You can even get your own sidewalk space for
your own drawing. This event will support the educational programs at the
Nautical Museum.
La Strada dell' Arte
Support your museum while enjoying a unique European celebration in our own back yard, experience La Strada dell' Arte. This remarkable Italian-style street-painting festival captures-from start to stunning finish-extraordinary chalk masterpieces by talented artists. To the delight of the entire family, "Piazza de Bambini" will encourage youngsters to create their own chalk art. Whet your appetite at the authentic and enticing "Ristorante dell' Arte" food pavilion, sponsored by The Olive Garden, featuring the finest cuisine from local restaurants, as well as tantalizing beverages from Moretti Beer and Poggio Basso Chianti. All this and more with strolling musicians, mesmerizing mimes and romantic gondola rides. La Strada -marrying the best of Italy with the best of Balboa Village on the Peninsula in Newport Beach. Newport Harbor Cristmas Boat Parade Newport Harbor - More than 200 boats
cruise the harbor decorated in dazzling lights. This week-long boat parade,
the largest and oldest of its kind in Southern California, lasts about
two-and-a-half hours.
